Terms & Conditions for Merit Scholarship
SPM / STPM / GCE A-Levels / UEC results which are not of the current year will be considered on a case-by-case basis. This could apply where a student has not previously used the results to enroll with any college or institutions of higher learning and enjoy awards of a similar nature. In any case, examination results obtained more that two (2) years ago will not be considered.

Terms & Conditons:
- This scholarship is only for Malaysian.
- Students’ achievements should be during their upper secondary years onwards.
- Subject to final decision and interpretation of Kolej Hillciti’s Scholarship Committee.
- Scholarship recipients must represent the College in any competitions when required.
- Qualified students must assist in the training of the other College players in their respective sports.
4. SIBLING INCENTIVES
Diploma Programmes:
- Diploma in Hotel Management
- Diploma in Business Administration
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Where 2 or more children of the same parents are registered for study at the college, the second and subsequent child/children will enjoy discounts on tuition fees during their study at Kolej Hillciti. This applies also in instances when two siblings come in at the same intake.
- The second child of the same parents would be granted 20% tuition fees waiver for studies at Kolej Hillciti.
- The third child onwards would be granted 30% tuition fees waiver for studies at Kolej Hillciti

The incentive is valid for all programmes except for any short courses

If the first sibling has completed his/her programme at Kolej Hillciti, the second sibling will be able to enjoy the discount for the full duration of his/her programme at Kolej Hillciti once it is approved.

Where the first sibling is still pursuing his/her programme at Kolej Hillciti, for the second sibling to be eligible for the discount, all scheduled payments of the first sibling must be paid up to that point in time.

Where both siblings are pursuing their studies at Kolej Hillciti at the same time, the first sibling who commences studies first at the College is deemed as the first sibling and is thus not eligible for the Sibling Discount.

If two siblings are to enroll simultaneously (i.e. both their programmes commence at the same time), the first to register shall be considered as the first sibling and will have to pay the full tuition fees.

If three siblings are to enroll simultaneously (i.e. all their programmes commence at the same time), the first registered sibling will have to pay the full course fees, whereas the second registered sibling will be eligible for the 20% discount and the last registered sibling will be eligible for the 30% discount.

Once the discounts for the various siblings are scheduled and finalized, no changes are allowed thereafter.
5. CHILDREN OF CIVIL SERVANT INCENTIVES
Diploma Programmes:
- Diploma in Hotel Management
- Diploma in Business Administration
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Children of staff of Malaysian civil service qualify for a 10% tuition fees waiver during their study at Kolej Hillciti.
- The parents need to produce proof of their occupational status in order for their children to qualify for the above bursary.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL SCHOLARSHIPS / INCENTIVES

Except for the Sibling Incentive, all applicants must be Malaysian students.

The scholarships awarded are in the form of either a full or partial tuition fee waiver. The award excludes all other charges or costs such as registration fee, resource fee, deposits, etc, which shall be borne by the student.

The scholarships are only for studies at Kolej Hillciti, in Malaysia, and shall cease once the students leave the College. It is not applicable for studies elsewhere.

The scholarship is non-transferable, non-convertible to cash, and non-redeemable for cash.

No applicant may receive more than one scholarship at any one time. In the event that an applicant qualifies for more than one scholarship he/she must choose which one he/she wishes to accept. Students who are eligible for several incentive / discount / scholarship options offered by the College are allowed to choose only one.

The scholarship holder shall not receive any scholarship offered by other educational institutions or organizations.

All decisions by the Principal or the College Scholarship Committee are final and no further queries shall be entertained.

Scholarships are applicable only for full-time programmes at Kolej Hillciti. They are not available for any short programmes

Forecast results are normally not acceptable and scholarships are only considered after applicants obtain their actual results. For some scholarships where forecast results may be accepted, the applicant must pay the full fees upfront and any scholarship disbursement will take place only after receipt of the actual results. If the applicant’s actual results do not meet the programme’s entry requirement, the scholarship is automatically terminated, the student has to terminate the programme and there will be no refund of fees paid.

All recipients of scholarship are required to contribute their service to the College (for instance during college events such as Open Day, Graduation Ceremony, etc) whenever requested

The qualifications required for the various scholarships may vary from year to year. Applicants are to check with the Admission and Registration (Scholarships) on the requirements before applying.

Terms and conditions of the scholarships may be modified and amended from time to time as deemed appropriate by Kolej Hillciti.

Applicants must pass all examinations and maintain satisfactory academic standards in each semester in order to maintain their scholarships status.

Refunds, if any, due to the award of a scholarship, will only be refunded after the completion of the programme that the scholarship is for.

In exceptional cases, scholarships may be withdrawn at any time in the event of gross misconduct or failure to meet the required academic grades.

In the event a student withdraws from his/her programme before completion, the College may, at its discretion, require the student to reimburse in full the tuition fee waived.
